What will you be doing in this position?
- Design visually appealing, mobile-optimized WordPress websites for roofing companies.
- Implement SEO best practices including metadata, schema markup, and site structure.
- Ensure each website includes key lead-gen components like click-to-call, quote forms, and CTAs.
- Collaborate with marketing, SEO, and leadership teams to translate strategy into design.
- Conduct revisions and performance optimizations post-launch based on analytics.
- Manage site speed, page structure, responsiveness, and accessibility compliance.
What do we need from you?
- 3+ years experience in WordPress web design with portfolio examples.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, conversion design, and home service industry standards.
- Proficient in Elementor, Divi, or other builders.
- Familiarity with SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath) and performance tools (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights).
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work under deadlines.
Your typical workday, workweek and your performance evaluation will be based on…
- Daily Tasks:
- Morning stand-up or async check-in for project updates.
- Site builds or edits for client projects (1–2 projects concurrently).
- Review feedback from marketing and leadership.
Troubleshooting technical or aesthetic issues.
- Weekly Tasks:
- 20–40 hours/week depending on project load (start part-time, ramp to full-time).
- Design sprint cycles.
- Weekly team check-ins or Loom updates on progress.
Performance Evaluation & KPIs
- Reports to Creative Director or Project Manager.
- KPIs:
- Speed to launch.
- Page speed and mobile performance.
- Conversion rate per site.
- Visual consistency with brand.
- Feedback cycle turnaround.
