The Virtual Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating our non-emergency medical transportation services. This remote position will act as an essential intermediary between MTS, our drivers, and the families we serve. The Virtual Dispatcher will ensure safe, timely, and efficient transport of our clients, especially children attending PPEC facilities. This position requires excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers throughout their route, providing them with real-time support and information.
- Coordinate and schedule pick-ups, drop-offs, and all transport activities, ensuring punctuality and compliance with schedules.
- Maintain open, effective communication with clients’ families and drivers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Utilize advanced dispatching tools and software to optimize routes for efficiency and safety.
- Monitor drivers' progress and location to ensure adherence to established routes and timelines.
- Relay critical information, such as traffic, weather conditions, or route changes, to drivers.
- Manage urgent situations or emergencies efficiently, coordinating alternative arrangements when necessary.
- Document and report any delays, incidents, or issues to the relevant parties promptly and accurately.
