We are seeking a proactive and versatile Remote Design & Business Development Specialist to support both the technical and strategic growth efforts of the company. This part-time, remote position is ideal for a multifaceted professional with a strong design background and a knack for business development. You will work closely with leadership to transform 2D drawings into 3D assets, develop compelling visual content, and help expand outreach and marketing efforts.

What will you be doing in this position?
Design & Technical Support
- Convert 2D technical drawings into polished 3D renderings for marketing, proposals, and client presentations
- Create fabrication-ready 3D models and update legacy design files as needed
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate visual representation of concepts
- Maintain a library of visual assets for reuse in proposals and internal documentation
Marketing & Business Development
- Execute targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns to connect with Architects, Electrical Engineers, and General Contractors
- Assist in appointment setting and communication follow-ups with prospects
- Create marketing content (visuals, pitch decks, PDFs) that communicate the firm’s unique value proposition
- Work with leadership to develop marketing strategies using 3D renderings as visual proof points
- Research potential leads, industry trends, and growth opportunities
General Business Support
- Provide administrative assistance for government contracting preparation and certifications
- Assist with proposal development, client correspondence, and internal documentation
- Adapt to evolving business needs by supporting strategic projects as needed
What do we need from you?
- Proven experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar)
- Background in architecture, engineering, or industrial design preferred
- Experience in B2B marketing or business development roles
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Proficiency with LinkedIn for professional networking and outreach
- Self-starter with strong time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Your typical workday, workweek and your performance evaluation will be based on…
- Daily Tasks:
- 1–2 hours of design/rendering work
- 1 hour of marketing outreach or follow-ups
- Weekly meetings with leadership for alignment and updates
- Research and planning for marketing and prospecting
- Weekly Tasks:
- 15–20 hours per week, flexible schedule
- Mix of design, marketing, and general business support tasks
- Communication primarily via Zoom, Slack, and email
Performance Evaluation & KPIs:
- Reports directly to the business owner
- Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Timeliness of inspection scheduling
- Accuracy of financial record-keeping and invoice processing
- Responsiveness to communication
- Task completion rate in Co-Construct
- Overall reliability and initiative
