The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for promoting the handyman business online, building brand awareness, and generating leads. This part-time position offers flexibility in working hours and will report directly to Juan, the business owner.

What will you be doing in this position?

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns primarily focusing on digital channels such as social media, email, and website content.
  • Manage and optimize the company's social media profiles and overall online presence to ensure maximum visibility.
  • Implement strategies aimed at attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Journey Specialist to align marketing efforts with customer experience.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads to drive lead generation.
  • Create engaging content for blogs, newsletters, and social media posts to keep the audience informed and interested.

What do we need from you?

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the home services industry.
  • Proficient in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Your typical workday, workweek and your performance evaluation will be based on…

  • Daily Tasks:
    • Monitor and respond to social media engagement.
    • Create and schedule content across various platforms.
    • Analyze and optimize advertising campaigns to ensure effective lead generation.
    • Coordinate with the Customer Journey Specialist to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.

Performance Evaluation & KPIs:

  • Lead generation effectiveness through paid advertising.
  • Engagement and reach on social media platforms.
  • Quality and relevance of content produced (blogs, social media posts, newsletters).
  • Collaboration with the team to ensure smooth integration of marketing and customer experience efforts.
