What will you be doing in this position?

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax documents and compliance reports.
  • Monitor and manage financial databases and systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
